Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter crafted by the creators of Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Dive into dangerous missions, defeating adversaries to boost your abilities and arsenal. Gather resources, retreat to your base, or bravely face the formidable Familiars, guardians of the witch. Success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her army requires skill and knowledge. If defeated, you have one chance to reclaim your losses or return with a new strategy.

Navigate expansive, immersive environments, selecting your battleground to challenge the witch's forces. Each victory fortifies you through the roguelite Arcana system, offering numerous ways to develop your preyer and conquer the witch. Only the worst sinners become preyers—undead assassins powered by witchfire. At the Hermitory, customize your preyer with a variety of unique weapons, spells, and artifacts.

During each mission, you can extract your loot or, if daring, confront the witch’s Familiar to access new regions and powerful upgrades. Uncover a past narrative to save the future, investigate shipwrecks at the witch’s domain, and find the artifact essential to ending the war between the Church and the witches. Throughout Early Access, Witchfire will evolve with new areas, enemies, and armaments—help us shape its ultimate form!
