You are tasked with making the planet habitable for humans by gathering resources, constructing a base, and producing machinery to heat the planet and create an oxygen-rich atmosphere, ultimately geo-engineering the entire planet.
Collect minerals and resources to survive and craft essential tools for your mission. Explore ancient shipwrecks and ruins to uncover a planet filled with mysteries. Establish a base and various machines to bring life to the planet. Progress through building tiers to enhance your base and explore further.
As you increase heat, oxygen, and pressure, watch life forms appear, starting with moss and insects, eventually leading to dense forests and diverse wildlife. Choose your difficulty level, from relaxed to hardcore, and play with starting presets for endless possibilities.

It would have been nice if Planet Crafter had gotten the AAA budget and polish, but the game as it exists nails all the important parts in ways that can make multi-hour gaming sessions fly on by in minutes. It's a dead cold rocky ball without a hint of life when you get there, but each new crafted item is another step closer to the terraformed paradise it can become.
