Players take on the roles of Amateras, the Japanese sun goddess, which appears in the form of the legendary White Wolf Siranui. The goddess has the task of destroying Orochi, an eight-headed demon and a tyrant who has transformed the world into ruined desert. Players must use the magic powers of Amaterasu and the whole range of objects, attacks and techniques of the celestial brush to restore the Nippon landscape to its original glory of life and color. On the way, Amaterasu will be called to help various characters and defeat the brutal enemies that Orochi's curse has created.
